Downtown Harvest’s 3rd Annual Wine Tasting Event, which took place on Saturday April 28th, was a delightful evening of meeting new people, eating tasty prepared snacks and sampling of several organic wines. We enjoyed the company of many new and returning members as well as farmer, John Krueger. The agenda was very informal - some brief words from the Core Team and then another successful "Peculiar Produce" sampling.  Core members Conni Blank, Bruce Jones, Jeanne Coffey and Phil Petruzzelli prepared some wonderful dishes from a few a-typical veggies for all the guests to try:  Red cabbage, Kohlrabi, Tomatillos & Cilantro and Celeriac.  All in all, the event was a delicious way to start out the evening and kick off the new season!
