Pickup Directions
Location
Our pick-up location is at the garage just to the right (east) of OLC Church at 120 Sussex Street. Directions are at the bottom of the page.
Times
Your shares will be ready for you on Wednesday evenings during the harvest season. Pick-up begins at 5:30 pm, and ends promptly at 8:00 pm. At 8:00 pm, all uncollected shares will be donated to the emergency food pantry of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Jersey City.
At the Pickup
When you arrive at the pick-up site, please sign in with the volunteer at the table. A whiteboard will display the amounts of produce for each share that week.Split Shares Please Note:
If you have registered to split a share with a partner, please check with the volunteer to see if your partner has already picked up the share. The entire share must be picked up at one time. If you wish, you may leave a labeled bag for your share partner to pick up later in the evening.
Bags
Please remember to bring a shopping bag to take your produce home. Some people like a canvas tote while others find that a string bag can fit easily into a backpack or briefcase, enabling them to pick up on the way home.The Downtown Harvest canvas tote is a great way to bring your veggies home!

From Routes 1 & 9
Route 1 & 9 to Holland Tunnel ramp. At first traffic light at the bottom of the ramp, make a right turn and then go left up the ramp towards the Newport Mall. Follow the signs for Washington Blvd. At the next traffic light make a right onto Washington Blvd. Stay on Washington Blvd. and it will turn into Washington Street. Stay on Washington Street until you come to Sussex Street. (Sussex Street comes after Montgomery, York, and Grand) Make a right turn onto Sussex Street. The garage is half way up the block on the right - just before OLC Church.
From the Holland TunnelAs you come out of the Tunnel stay on your right and make the first right hand turn onto Luis Marin Blvd. At the first traffic light on Marin Blvd. make a right hand turn onto 18th Street by the shopping area. This road will become Washington Blvd. Stay on Washington Blvd. and it will become Washington Street. Stay on Washington Street until you come to Sussex Street. Make a right turn onto Sussex Street (Sussex Street comes after Montgomery, York, and Grand), the garage is half way up the block on the right - just before OLC Church.
From the NJ Turnpike
Take exit 14C on NJ Turnpike. Get off at Grand Street, Jersey City exit. Stay in the right lane. At traffic light turn right onto Christopher Columbus Drive. Follow Christopher Columbus Drive to Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street. Stay on Washington Street until you come to Sussex Street (Sussex Street comes after Montgomery, York, and Grand). Make a right turn onto Sussex Street. The garage is half way up the block on the right - just before OLC Church.
From Route 3 East
Follow the signs for the Lincoln Tunnel. Get off at the last exit in New Jersey, the exit for Hoboken. Stay to the right, go down the ramp to the second light, make a right, follow signs for Hoboken. Soon after you enter Hoboken you will have to make a right or a left, make a left, go Washington Street, about 2 blocks, make a right onto Washington Street. Go through Hoboken until Washington Street comes to an end, make right, go to the second light make a left, go to the next light, make a left, then continue on this road, which is Washington Boulevard, it then becomes Washington Street. Go about a mile through a business and office tower district, then you will come to Montgomery Street, then York Street, then Grand Street, then Sussex Street. Make a right turn onto Sussex Street, the garage is half way up the block on the right - just before OLC Church.
From George Washington Bridge
Follow signs for I 95 South, New Jersey Turnpike. Take Turnpike South to Exit 14 C. Get off at Grand Street, Jersey City exit. Stay in the right lane. At traffic light turn right onto Christopher Columbus Drive. Follow Christopher Columbus Drive to Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street. Stay on Washington Street until you come to Sussex Street (Sussex Street comes after Montgomery, York, and Grand). Make a right turn onto Sussex Street.
