Our 2007 Season Extension is Closed for Enrollment
HOW do I participate? Please note that the membership is again limited to 75
shares. The enrollment is open only to our 2007 members until Friday, October 12. If shares remain after that date, we will extend the offer to others who have expressed interest.
The closing deadline is Wednesday, October 24, so Farmer John can plan accordingly. We will close it earlier if we reach our member limit.

There are three ways to enroll:
1. The easiest is to fill out and sign the form, and pay on the spot next Wednesday.
2. Mail the form and payment to the address on the form (checks payable to Starbrite Farm)
3. Drop an envelope marked Downtown Harvest in the mail slot at the OLC rectory (120 Sussex St)
WHEN: This will consist of 4 weeks:
Wednesday, October 31
Wednesday, November 7
Wednesday, November 14
TUESDAY, November 20 The last date is Tuesday because it is Thanksgiving week.
WHAT'S IN IT?
The planned produce (as always, subject to growing conditions) are large shares and will include some fruit- either apples or pears. The share will include potatoes, various winter squash, root vegetables (radishes, turnips, beets, carrots, parsnips, celery root), either cabbage, broccoli or cauliflower, lettuce, spinach and or other greens such as oriental mustards and bok choy, garlic or onions, and herbs.
The final date has more of the items that do not need refrigeration and that you can keep for several weeks (think potatoes, winter squash.) Great to enjoy over the holidays.
COST:
$100 for the four weeks
Split share members - if your split partner is not extending and you want to extend, please use the Yahoo Group to seek a partner.

Downtown Harvest has reached its maximum membership for 2007, and would like to
thank this year's members for their support. Those interested in 2008 membership are invited to check this site periodically or write to downtownharvest@yahoo.com asking for notification when membership is about to reopen.
2007 Membership Cost: $440 a share plus a $15 administration fee
Duration of Deliveries: Starts early/mid June for 20 weeks
